Show Ogden High School, May 18, 1933 Report of Club Committee on Scholarship and Activity Cup presented by Carpe Diem. 1. Scholarship was rated on an average of their five term grades on the following percent basis: A — 10 B — 8 C — 6 D — 4 2. Activities were rated on a point system considering all activities which furthered student body affairs, good school spirit and inter-club good will e.g. support of games and plays, advertizing school affairs, promoting and participating in scholastic activities as debating, dramatics, music, etc., classicalia club competition, art exhibits, assemblies, inter-club tournaments. 3. Scholastically clubs were rated as follows: 1. Gregg Artists 2. A. D. M. 3. Forum 4. Los Loritos 5. Carpe Diem and Zeta Phi Zeta 4. Those rating scholastically were then rated as to activities as follows: 1. Carpe Diem 2. Zeta Phi Xi 3. A. D. M. 4. Forum 5. Los Loritos - Gregg 5. Scholarship counted two-thirds and activities one-third. 6. The cup was awarded on this basis the rating as follows: 1. A. D. M. 2. Gregg Artists 3. Forum 4. Carpe Diem 5. Zeta Phi Xi 6. Los Loritos 7. |
