Show SHORT SUBJECTS Gals who like to drink and do With Aaron have an interview. Why doesn't Van give us all a hand And use words we can understand? The guy who persists in hooking lunches I hope his children come in bunches. Boys who stay out late at night Never have their lessons right. - MUSINGS OF D. WEBER BUM - God made a mistake in making Dora Bybee a girl. With her petiteness, her red hair, and her spunk, she has every qualification of a Bantam Rooster. I wander over the campus grounds Note how it has grown by leaps and bounds, All of this progress has been dated -Since Aaron and God 'affiliated. Doc seems to think Geology Will save the human race. Is my destiny to be controlled By shale, with a limestone base? Music saves the soul of man m This thought from our organ flows. But how about some lockers -To save our books and clothes! I'd sooner live to be a clown Than go through life to growl and frown. See all the laughter I set free When someone makes a fool of me I I admire Professor Monson. His unassuming role of teacher fools the sluggard and enrichens those who are really seeking a quiet, sound philosophy of life. I dozed through a class of his, and received a 'D', along with just enough fragments of thought to make me realize now the blunder I made. 'Quietly doing things well' should read his epitaph. |
