The Lecture Course The next number of the Lecture Course comes to the Tabernacle, Thursday, March 28th. This attraction is entirely different from anything seen on the Course up to this time. Maro, the Prince of Magic, promises an evening of instruction and entertainment that will appeal to everyone. Press notices from every state in the Union testify of his wonderful power and versatility, and are generous in their expressions of appreciation. Maro's Saxaphone Quartet, in addition to his own entertainment, makes the evening doubly attractive. Arrangements will be made for the seating of those who do not hold season tickets, as the Tabernacle will be taxed to its utmost seating capacity. Love and Respect Whereas, it has pleased our All-wise Heavenly Father, in His infinite wisdom, to call home from this earthly sphere, by the hand of death, our worthy and esteemed friend and schoolmate, William J. Wood, and, Whereas, our long and intimate relation with him makes it befitting that we record our love and respect for him; therefore, be it Resolved, that the ability and willingness which he has exercised in the aid of our association will be held in grateful remembrance; Resolved, that we, the Alumni, extend our sincere sympathy to the loved ones, of our brother, in their sorrow, and bid them look upon Him who overcame death and who holds out a bright and shining hope to those who trust in Him; and we hope and trust that this parting, which is for time only, will tend to make that future meeting one of complete joy and happiness; be it further Resolved, that these resolutions be spread upon the records of this organization, and that a copy be sent to the bereaved family.
