During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Sunday, January 12, 1930 12th Day 353 Days to come Dr was called out early this A.M. I rested so did not get up until 9. Prepared breakfast as usual did up work & prepared for R.S. Board meeting (or Union) held in 18 Ward. Good meeting & fine attendance & reports in all departments. Prepared dinner Rupert & Gladys ate with us Joe & Myrene came in & had mini pie. June & Avon also called today. Attended Sacrament meeting this evening Scouts gave part of the Prog. Listened over radio to Apostle James Lalmage on the Personality of God. Dr retired early. Monday, January 13, 1930 13th Day 352 Days to come It has snowed most all day. I have been home all day have done some sewing & baking. The Relief Society Board meet here tonight for lesson work Margret Anderson gave a book Review of The San of the Middle Border by Hamilton Garland. Wrote a long letter to Mary. Myrene & Blanch have called in today. Cleone & Royal are visiting the volcano Pele in Hawiian Island, Hilo. Dr & I were there this month 20 years ago. |
