Show Tuesday, April 22, 1930 112th Day 253 Days to come General housework & preparing of meals for Dr & myself. At ten thirty A.M. I went thro the Packing house in company with the thirty five board members we were more than pleased to see such a splendid clean & up to date factory. We were served a nice lunch. I was asked to act as toast mistreas. This evening Dr and I attended operetta Bell of Bagdad given by Junior High School. It was splendid. Recd. two very interesting letters from Cleone written at Ceylon and Bombay India. Wednesday, April 23, 1930 113th Day 252 Days to come Today Cleone & Royal land at Gibraltar after a three months cruse around the world. Dr sent them a cable yesterday A buisy morning at home. After lunch I with a Committee at Pioneer Hall to show our hall, cabin etc to Mayor Bundy who has promised us help in better care of Goodyear cabin the first cabin built in Utah Have answered the phone many times. From three P.M. until six P.M. I attended World Lit. classes at Junior High which closed a very interesting course given by Mrs Christain Jensen of the University of Utah I have only missed three lectures in the years course. This evening I completed the history clipping books of D of P. up to date have kept this complete for 16 years |
