Friday, April 4, 1930 94th Day 271 Days to come Salt Lake City This A.M. I took the 8 15 train for Salt Lake City to attend the Relief society Conference. We had 100 percent of our Board present and have had a profitable day. The meetings have been very interesting and worth while. If I remember right I have only missed three or four conferences in fourteen years. I am staying at the Hotel Utah and here this evening the Presidents Banquet was held. Every stake on mission of U.S. was represented. A wonderful time ful blessed to associate with such fine women. I retired late but was not so tired after such a strenous day. Saturday, April 5, 1930 95th Day 270 Days to come Hotel Utah S.L.C. I stayed all night here at the Hotel and had my breakfast at eight oclock. Have attended both sessions of Relief Society Conference in the Asembly Hall. As it is the Centennial of our church the L.D.S. the speakers spoke in regard to what the wemon of the church had done to help its progress. The speakers were Latta P. Baxter Wemon in Missouri Julia a Child Wemon in Illinois, Amy w. Evans Wemon on the Plains Annie Wells Cannon Wemon of the West The morning meeting the following speakers Pres. Lauire Y Robinson, Alene Hart, Emeline Nebeker, Hazel H. Greenwood Ethal R Smith. Inez K. Allen, Julia Lund. Wonderful meetings. Dr came down & will stay tonight We had a nice chicken dinner with Mae & Orren.
