During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Sunday, April 20, 1930 110th Day Easter 255 Days to come A very beautiful morning Our first Easter alone. Oertel & family in Columbus Ohio. Cleone & royal in Europe the Reveria Junior at his home on Jackson ave. Avon at her home on swamer ave Thair & family in Philadelphia. Myrene at her own home on Eccles ave. Mary in New York on Easter vacation from Ann Arbor Mich. Have just listened to radio broadcast from London by Democratic senator Joseph T. Robinson on the navil conference at which he is attending. Monday, April 21, 1930 111th Day Battle of San Jacinto (Tex.) 254 Days to come Have had a buisy day doing work etc. This afternoon I attended a board meeting of the Daughters of Pioneers was appointed to see about having a sprinkling system but in for the ground at Pioneer Hall also on a Committee to see about protecting the Good year cabin from vandalism. This evening I attended & presided at our Relief society Board meeting. Also arranged today for thirty five Board members from the four Weber Stakes to visite Ogden Packing Plant tomorrow. Did some reading A card from my nephey D Oerr Cozzens in Chicago attending a convention of Deles Plants Co. |
