Show Sunday, May 4, 1930 124th Day 241 Days to come Raining some Dr was called to a maternity case before breakfast. I attended Fast meeting four babies were named & four children who had been baptized were confirmed. The 18 Ward has 4000.00 to raise by fall to complete the chapel. At two oclock P.M. Dr & I had a very nice chicken dinner with Mr & Mrs D.R. Wheelwright in honor of Rose Ballantyne. Mrs Fasrino was also present. We had a very pleasant afternoon. Mrs Ballantyne taught Kindergarden at 5 Ward S.S. at which our seven children attended. Joe & Myrene & baby Charlene came to see us. This evening Dr & I called on Avon & Kiddies Junior & Blanch in Chicago today. Had a lovly letter from Oertel Monday, May 5, 1930 125th Day 240 Days to come Have spent a buisy day at home except for phone calls etc. This ivening I went to an early Heads of Departments meeting after which our board meeting. Mrs Cooley gave the Book of Mormon lesson. Came home & Dr & I decided to go up to the 12 Ward to a Ward workers party. We had a nice time. |
