Show Tuesday, August 26, 1930 238th Day 127 Days to come rained Tryol Lake Uintah Mts. Dr and I slept lat, had a fine breakfast after which we arranged for a trip similar to the one yesterday but instead of hiking we road horse back. Dr took two boat oars and I the fish basket & tackle. Some horses backs one yrd. Wide or more very slow but sure footed. We visited four lakes. Just as we neared Wall Lake I ran a limb in my leg which made quite a soar. We fished some here but no luck only four. We returned quite tired prepared dinner & retired early. Wednesday, August 27, 1930 239th Day 126 Days to come Rained Tryold Lake We had a pleasant day visited Mirror Lake at the foot of Baldie Mt 11900 ft high about twenty mi from Tryol, Read some this evening by oil lamp & fire place |
