Show Exchange Returning to school once more, we are determined to improve our school paper and by the criticisms of exchanges the "Acorn" will be brought closer to the standard. We, therefore, extend a welcome to our old friends and hope to receive many new ones. We are glad to receive the following exchanges: "The Crimson," Logan, Utah. We enjoyed your October number very much. We like the arrangement of your cover. "The Oriole," Baltimore, Md. Our efforts may be weak, but we try something new each year. Change your cuts. "The Orange and Black," Waterloo, Iowa. You have a "nifty" paper. We especially like your cover. "Student Life," Logan, Utah. You have a very good periodical. "The Tahoma," Washington. The cover isn't appropriate for a school paper. Improve your cuts. "Orange and Black," Milton, Pennsylvania. You could improve in your literary department. Where is your contents page? "The Artisan," Bridgeport, Conn. Your departments could be improved by having the separation more distinct. "Red and Black," Salt Lake City, Utah. The write up on the "Cadet Trip" is very interesting. "The Lion," La Grange, Ill. It is hard to criticise your neat paper. We also acknowledge the following exchanges: "The Gold and Blue," Salt Lake City, Utah; "Visalia High School Notes," Vasalia, Cal.; "Utah Ragle," Ogden, Utah; "Science and Craft," Chicago, 111.; "The Record," Louisville, Ky.; "The Picayune," Minneapolis, Minn.; "Eugene High School News,' ,Eugene' Oregon. In Brother Jensen's History Class. Sadie Eccles was continually asking Leland Brewer if Columbus discovered America. After the fourth question on the same subject, Leland said: "Well Sadie, if ignorance is bliss, you must be covered with blisters."
