Nebeker: : We have for sombtime past been contemplating registering or trade marking the name "Browning" as used in connection with guns, end aleo the name "Browning" in combination with descriptive names to be stamped the upén guns, We have from time to time checked this matter up with various parties but have been unable to get any real satisfadtion so far. it seems difficult to find any one who is familie with the law or the procedure, we are fearful expect to that use. We are becoming more anxious about the situation because others will acquire rights first to certain names which we As you already know, we are preparing to manufacture and import a shotgun formerly known as the "Over-Under". Inasmuch as the word ‘Over=Under? is rather cumbersome, we have decided to use the word "Superposed" and the name which will uktimately be stamped on the gun will be "Browning Superposed",. | It is possible that deliveries on this arm will not be made for about a year.
