Show Weber Wildcats prepare for the journey home "Odds and Ends." Leadership Conference September 17, 1964, one hundred Weber Wildcats representing Student Government, School Organizations and Clubs invaded Aspen Grove, the B.Y.U. Alumni Summer Camp. These students enjoyed three days of fun, fellowship and a combined effort for learning the functions of good student government. They attended for the first time what is hoped to be an annual Leadership Conference sponsored by Weber for Weber State students active in student activities. It looks as though Granny has made a few additions since we were here. Hello week began with registration which was a real experience for the freshmen. Weber has become the fastest growing college in Utah. Hence the days of registration were long and crowded. The week concluded with the President's assembly and a football game where Mr. Million met Miss Weber State 4300. Hello Week President Miller welcomes new and returning students to Weber State College at the President's assembly. The fall quarter registration was confusing and hectic, but somehow everyone found his class when school opened. As Utah received its millionth citizen, Weber State received its number 4300 student. They are pictured here as a symbol of togetherness in growth. |
