Show President Miller cuts a sample of the birthday cake for Mrs. Miller. The gambling tables are crowded with men's club members. The Moulin Rouge made nothing but money. "It's the water," claims Tex, as he holds out his cup for another drink. Union Birthday Party The theme of the 1965 union building birthday party was "San Francisco at Night." A beautiful cake made in the form of the student union building was ordered for the occasion. Each committee under the union activities board was assigned one aspect of the party. The over all event was sponsored by the special events committee under Jerry Kizerian. Those who attended were given money to spend in the gambling hall, at the bar, in the Moulin Rouge, at China Town, or in the fishing booth. The walls of the U.B. were decorated with familiar scenes of San Francisco. Everyone was married at the U.B. party in the Chinese ceremony. Pati Jo George enjoyed the party more than anyone else. The Moulin Rouge bun pose for a picture. |
