Show Honor Assembly The Big Sky basketball champions were honored at a special assembly in the fine arts center. The B.S.A.C. trophy and a special trophy honoring "the best team in the state" were presented. Coach Dick Motta accepted the awards on behalf of the team. He also issued a challenge to the other three schools in the state to play his 'Cats. The Rallymen bring in the trophy for students to see. Team members, student body officers, President Millet, and Coach Motta are pictured with the trophy on stage. Dick Motta issues a challenge to other schools. In April the freshman class sponsored an IBM Dance. Students were urged to go to the Union Building and fill out a form concerning their personality, likes, dislikes, etc. The forms were then processed in the data processing center by the IBM machines. In this way partners were chosen for the dance. The machines proved to be good match-makers (in some cases). IBM, Donee The U.B. lobby becomes crowded as students begin to sign for the IBM Dance. The class officers make plans for the coming event. Freshman class president, Dave Kusuda, assists a student with his personality form. |
