Wattis 1961 Projects Completed During this Period Were: 1) Garrison Stripping Mine stripping operation for Montana Phosphate Mining Company in Garrison, Montana. This is for work done between the period April 1961 and October 1961 in the amount of $461, 396 on a unit price contract. This was the final cleanup of an operation that had continued for seven years. The ore body is now depleted. 2} Alameda Tenants Store alterations and fixtures for tenants at the Alameda Shopping Center at Alameda, California. For work performed between the period June 1959 and March 1961, on a lump sum basis, the cost was $147,212. 3) Armour Plant The construction of a meat processing plant and warehouse for Armour and Company in South San Francisco, California. The lump sum project was started December 1959 and completed in September 1961 at a cost of $2,539,281. Work costs were substantially under the estimate due to efficient operation and favorable layout. 4) Folgers Process Building The construction of a coffee processing plant for the Folger Coffee Company in South San Francisco, California. The lump sum contract was started in March 1960 and completed in September 1961 at a cost of $648, 592. The work was accomplished for a slight savings under the estimate.
