Show Hoopsters: Men's Basketball NEIL McCarthy, head coach Tom Heywood played center for the Wildcats. The Wildcats held a 15-13 record at the season's close. Thanks to the efforts of Neil McCarthy and the assistant coaches, the Cats made a good showing in the games. All the players except for two, who redshirted the season out, played a strong game every time they took to the court, whether home or away. Their home record of 11-05 said a lot for the term, while their travel record of 4-8 shows how much they missed the fans that they had at the DEE CENTER. Averaging over 7,000 spectators in home conferene games and over 6,000 in all of the home games, the Cats were spured on by the cheers and shouts of the fans. Todd Harper was the high scorer for 18 games and retired his college career with 500 point an average of 17.9 points per game. The nexy highest scorer was Royal Edwards with 363 points, an average of 13 points per game. This season brought the 'Cats record in the DEE CENTER to 61-17 overall and 26-9 for the Big Sky Conference in the past five years.
