Show Monday 10 I settled down to write letters with Christmas cards with which I will send money. Leila, Gladys, Saunders, Winifred McCauley, Barbara & Guy Sanders Rose & family Nan early to P.O. to send off parcels to Mary Brennan Reese Barker, Sallys mother Later she got 1100 at bank & wrapped some of the gifts Nans Betty spent a little time with her mother. Marie cleared some bills etc Monday Saw on TV a memorable dinner honoring David O McKay given by Gentito friends at 30 dollars per plate. A glorious tribute Tuesday 11 Dense fog thru all Utah. Severe winter in Eastern part of U.S. Nan spending all her possible time wrapping gifts and doing a good Wednesday 12 job. Hair do at 315 pm. Nans day out but she came & took me for hair do & got 2 dresses from Taylor Wright for me on approval. Sharon Allred came & we read poetry until 10 pm Most enjoyably. |
