Show Sunday 17 St Patricks Day but no particular celebration. Weather misty & raining but quite warm. To Sunday School at 10 AM after went out & got Edith to came for dinner with us. Nan fixed us a tasty creamed chicken dinner. Edith stayed with me while Nan went out from 4 to 730. Took Edith home. In late pm. Harold brot Madeline and Thelma to visit. Thelma in very poor condition. Played checkers with great difficulty ac my strained shoulder. Monday 19 1963 The piano tuner came right after breakfast and made the air full of dolesome sounds for an hour. I had rather a poor night all done up in the am. but recovered as the day went on. Dreary weather with a dripping of snow & rain mixture. Nan took me to hospital 2 pm for X ray of shoulder. All OK only strained tendon. A visit with Mr. Knapp Mr. Law & Mrs. Nyland Home after. Elizabeth & Don came for call. |
