Show Saturday 20 Cont. Settled down at home in eve. with reading & checkers. We ventured out for supper at Brattons. Sunday 21 The worst looking winter we have seen this year. Nan & I decided not to attempt going to Sunday School. Our hill all covered with icy snow and some snow still falling. Ellen & Ed Anderson came to see us also Edith & Karen Ellen showed a beautiful quilt she had made for Kathy Bramer. Had a good dinner at home. Nan went out for groceries & came home to stay too much snow. We heard Book of Mormon on radio in eve. Sunday 21 Cont. Reading, checkers & to bed at 12 M. Monday 22 No let up in our Winter & more forecasted. Our house nice & warm & cosy & we are thankful. Still reading Marco Pollo At 3 pm to Charles for eye test. He reports some improvement in right eye snow cleared off in pm. Nan & I out to Bettys & later to Sears to see Kitchen steps. Supper at home 8 pm. Edith visited in eve. We did some cross word puzzles. Nan & I checkers after. |
