Show Friday 26 Cont. a Doctor (Daisy Romneys son in law) subject progress in heart medicine. Rather too much for me. A good luncheon and a nice visit with close friends. A heavy rain storm came up & we splashed our way home at 5 pm. I quite tired. We fixed a kitchen step chair & I did some knitting. Edith came over for a cross word session. Checkers later with Nan. Saturday 27 Winter again dark & gloomy with rain. Around home all day wrote to Leota Bigelow. Bob Barker came for a nice visit. We talked about all family affairs. He called in to see Edith & Rosabelle. Karen & a young friend visited At 715 Mr. Tribe called for us to go to Graycliff for dinner. Don & Elizabeth after & Edith with Nan & me dinner all came to our house for a pleasant visit until 10 pm. It has been a snowy day but later changed to rain. |
