Show 36 WEBER COLLEGE Organization THE DIVISIONS OF THE COLLEGE The curricula of Weber College are organized into three divisions: the Division of Liberal Arts, the Division of Sciences, and the Division of Business. The Division of Liberal Arts Courses in the Division of Liberal Arts lead toward the Associate of Arts Certificate. Included in this division are the following subjects: Education, English, French, German, History, Home Economics, Latin, Music, Orientation, Philosophy, Physical Education, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Spanish, and Speech. The Division of Sciences Courses in the Division of Sciences lead toward the Associate of Science Certificate. This division comprises the courses offered in the Biological and Physical Sciences as well as the professional courses in Engineering and Forestry. The subjects in this division are: Agriculture, Anatomy, Bacteriology, Botany, Chemistry, Engineering, Forestry, Geography, Geology, Hygiene, Mathematics, Physics, Physiology, and Zoology. The Division of Business Two distinct types of curricula are included in this division: the courses in Economics and Business which lead toward the Associate of Science Certificate, and the strictly terminal or semi-professional courses which lead toward the Certificate of Business. The aim of the curricula in this division is to qualify men and women to enter business as a profession. PART III COURSES OF INSTRUCTION |
