Attendance at summer camp is required by all schools of forestry and is prerequisite for graduation. The summer camp courses should be taken between the sophomore and junior years. COURSES OF INSTRUCTION Forestry 1. Elementary Forestry. A general survey of the profession of forestry. Emphasis on conservation. Students who have had this course cannot secure credit for Biology 10. Three quarter hours. Winter. Miner 63 Department of Home Economics M. Chipman, A. Hirst, M. S. Judge It is recommended that a student take advantage of the opportunity offered by the Department for participation in the home economics club (Tri Vesta), a professional organization open to students who are majors in home economics, and others who are interested.
