OUT OF CLASS ACTIVITIES Participation in extra-curricular activities provides students with experiences in the democratic processes. Wholesome activities in cultural pursuits help enrich the lives of the participants, personally and socially. Working and playing with others in endeavors that are interesting and purposeful contribute to the improvement of character and personality. Student Government All members of the student body are encouraged to take part in the affairs of student government. Such participation enables students to gain an understanding of the democratic processes and opporunities for the development of character, leadership, social responsibility, and good citizenship. Student government is organized into four divisions: 1. Associated Students of Weber College, Sophomore Class, Freshman Class. 2. Associated Men Students, Associated Women Students. 3. Board of Control. 4. Student committees, councils, and clubs.
