Perhaps one of the greatest achievements of the Weber College is the completion of the Weber Gymnasium. The idea of the Weber Gymnasium for Ogden City grew out of the power and enthusiasm of David O. McKay, a former principal of the institution. That idea has been nourished and fostered by the Weber College Board of Trustees, its faculty and hundreds of loyal students through a period of twenty-one years. Its completion and opening to the public January 9, weber college 15 1925 marks a great achievement of the Weber Collet the four Ogden Stakes of the Church, and the community at large. This gymnasium cost approximately $300,000.00. One-half of feat amount was contributed by the church the other half by the people of Ogden City and Weber County. |
