Show 30 weber college The rights of persons and the rights of property, public and private, must be respected. Persistence in non-attendance by a student may result in the student being dropped from a course. A student who fails in two-thirds of his work may be restricted in his work, or eliminated at the end of the quarter. The President shall have authority to supervise the living arrangements of students not residents of the city, and to order the immediate withdrawal of any student from an undesirable boarding or lodging house. All social functions given by any organization of the school are under direction of the standing committee of the organization. All disciplinary announcements made by the President of the school become a part of these regulations. weber college 31 FEES AND EXPENSES Registration Fee Per Quarter $16.00 Single subject, per Quarter 7.50 Miscellaneous Fees Late Registration Fees After the time set for registration, a fee of $1.00 will be charged. Special Examination Fees Per subject 5.00 Transcript of credits. Each student is entitled to one transcript free. Additional transcripts, for each copy .50 Changes of Registration After the first week of each quarter .50 Diploma Fee 5.00 The College pays all laboratory fees, and presents the student with his student association card. SCHOOL OF ARTS AND SCIENCE General requirements for graduation. Candidates for the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree must complete 183 credit hours of approved work, no more than 60 of which may be in any one department. This must include English 1a, 1b, 1c, Hygiene 1, Physical Education 2, 3, 4, and in addition 13 credit hours from each of the following groups: Mathematics and Physical Science. Astronomy, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Mineralogy, Physics. Biological Science. Anatomy, Bacteriology, Botany, Hygiene, Physical Education, Physiology, Zoology. Not less than four credit hours of Biological Science must be in laboratory work or its equivalent. Language. Ancient Languages, English, Modern Languages, Public Speaking. Social Science. Anthropology, Archaeology, Economics, History, Library, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology. Students should register for English la, lb, lc, Hygiene 1, and Physical Education 2, 3, 4, during their Freshmen year and plan their work so that they will have met all of the requirements of the four groups named above by the end of their Sophomore year. |
