It deals with the fundamentals of bookkeeping and enters into the theory and mechanism of accounting. Prerequisite: Economics 1 and 2. Autumn Winter and Spring quarters. Twelve credit hours. 4, 5, 6. Advanced Accounting. A study of the accounting and financial problems of the corpo-ration. Prerequisite: Economics 1 and 2 and Accounting 1, 2, and 3. SOCIOLOGY 1, 2. Elementary Sociology. General course including an account of the development of society and the group; isolation and social com social forces, competition and conflict; accommodation and assimilation; social control; collective behavior; and social progress. THE DEPARTMENT OF HOME ECONOMICS Professor Tanner Associate Professor Osmond 1. Plain Cooking. A course in plain cooking AND sewing will be offered to girls who have had no work in domestic science. Laboratory work in soups, breads, vegetables, meats and desserts WILL be given with instruction in food values and principles. Plain Sewing. Students who have had no instruction in domestic art will be given an opportunity to take plain sewing; getting the fundamentals and practice needed in such a course.
