Practical Nursing Orientation. Personal and vocational relationships, orientation to professional nursing, functioning in a team relationship. Two lecture periods a week, for sixteen weeks. The fundamental principles and techniques of nursing applied in nursing skills, nursing in special conditions of all age groups and diversional therapy. Four laboratory periods a week for sixteen weeks. One to five quarter hours credit. Autumn, Winter. Doss 55. Functional Anatomy. Introduction to anatomy and physiology designed to teach the stiudent general body structure and function as it relates to nursing care. One quarter hour. Autumn. Doss 57. Mother and Baby Care. Designed to give the information and practice in nursing needed to assist in making childbearing and child rearing as physically safe and emotionally satisfying as possible. Two quarter hours. Designed to give an understanding of the organization and functions of health agencies in the community and the individual's responsibility in the maintenance of individual and community health.
