Show Marriott-Slaterville History June 2008 Sheriff Brad Slater, in Volume 6, issue 2, of The Utah Sheriff, Second Quarter 2008, again reminded us "Don't Fall for a Con." The article gave tips for protection from fraud and cons. We were advised to research and discuss an issue before acting. Call the Better Business Bureau or the Sheriff's Office if you have a concern. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. A Cholesterol/Glucose screening was held on June 10, 2008, at the Senior Center, with the monthly visit by Jennifer Keyes of the McKay-Dee Senior Health Connection. It was also suggested that we eat more color. Fruits and vegetables contribute to flavorful, colorful meals, which can improve your general well-being, both physical and mental. The colors green, orange, red, blue/purple and white each contribute to our health in many ways. Bits and Pieces Katelyn Meyerhoffer, daughter of Chad and Diana Meyerhoffer, was born June 15, 2008. Emma Lea and Elli Jean Linford, twin daughters of Daniel and Heidi Linford, were born June 22, 2008. |
