The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show FEBRUARY THURSDAY 4 1892 College as usual I visited Blockley Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania. Heard Profs Wood and Pepper. Saw several very severe cases of Tuberculosis. The Camp has gone out and I shall have to retire early. 10.45 p.m. FRIDAY 5 College as usual. Went to quiz this evening and had a very interesting time. After the quiz we sent two of the boys out for oranges ect. ect. and had a general frost Ward went to Theatre. FEBRUARY SATURDAY 6 1892 Did not get up very early. Had my shoes repaired. Went up to 1924 on 10th to see Staikey, but found that he had left. Bought Brintons Therapeutic also Hares Went up to Thomas room for a short time Received a letter from mother. 11.15 p.m. SUNDAY 7 Have been in my room nearly all day: took a walk with Pressly this afternoon. Wrote to mother and Alvin Rich. Thomas, Webb, Harover and Beckell were in the room this evening. Ward went up to the Baptist Temple, but (XXX) had gone to Chicago. A wet cold day. 10.30 |
