Show Wash D.C. APRIL SATURDAY 16 1892 We have spent the day at Mt. Vernon. We went down on the Steamer and had a delightful time. We returned at 3 p.m. and walked around the city some We had our picture taken at Mt. Vernon. We shall go to the theatre this evening and start for Louisville Ky at 11.10 pm SUNDAY 17 Louisville Ky. Left Washington as we intended and had a very pleasant trip to this point where we met Ezra and Fred at depot. I enjoyed meeting them very much and we had a very interesting and pleasurable talk during the evening and did not retire until very late. APRIL MONDAY 18 1892 Louisville Ky. Attended college with the boys. Also visited the Hospital College. Had my trunk brought up and wrote to Spence for ticket to go home on. Have a very severe cold and feel miserable. A wet day. Ezra and Fred are well and getting along splendidly. It is pleasure to be with them. TUESDAY 19 Louisville Ky. A very unpleasant day I have been in the house all day. I contracted a very severe cold on the train and am nearly sick. I wrote two or three letters home Lovellette started for home this afternoon. I enjoy visiting with Ezra and Fred very much |
