Show APRIL TUESDAY 12 1892 A pleasant day. I packed my trunk and valise. Visited the Navy Yard this afternoon with Beckell and had a very nice time. Beckell and Harover started home to day. WEDNESDAY 13 Washington D.C. I passed my examination on Physiology in very good shape I think. Ward, Lovellette, and I came down here this evening arrived at 8.25 p.m. We ate supper at Saunders and we are now at The American Hotel. Shall take in the city tomorrow. 10.30 p.m. APRIL THURSDAY 14 1892 Washington D.C. A wet bad day. We visited Bureau of Agriculture. Gov. Museum Medical and Surgical Museum, Congress, the Supreme Court and several other public buildings. We had an elegant time We went up to the White house but did not get in We went to Theatre this evening I must Dr. Webb at depot. 11 p.m. FRIDAY 15 Wash. D. C. A wet rainy day. We visited P. O Department Pattent office. Treasury Dept. White House Went up in Washs monument. Went through Bureau of Printing and Engraving (a shooting snape came nearly recurring) Visited Congress and went to Theatre in evening. Dr. Webb left for home. A delightful time. |
