During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show MARCH MONDAY 7 1892 Attended College as usual Brinton lectured on hernia Wilson held the clinic A young boy had a convulsion during the clinic before the class. A very pleasant day. Holland gave a nice lecture today Hewson gave demonstration in dissecting room this evening on heart 11 p.m. TUESDAY 8 College as usual A wet rainy day. No letters from home. Changed boarding house to Market Street. MARCH WEDNESDAY 9 1892 College as usual Nothing special. I dissected this morning Kim held surgical clinic ligated Radial and Ulnar artery in arm of woman and did Radical cure of Hernia. A very pleasant day 11. p.m. THURSDAY 10 A wet disagreeable day. I completed my dissected this morning making five parts on the whole body that I have dissected this year. Brinton lectured on Hernia. Wilson gave a very good clinic Forbes is lecturing on the heart. 11 p.m. |
