Show FESTIVALS AND FASTS. ECLIPSES FOR THE YEAR. In the year 1918 there will be three Eclipses, two of the Sun and one of the Moon. I. A Total Eclipse of the Sun, June 8. Visible to North America, the extreme northwestern corner of South America, and the northeastern part of Asia. The path of totality extending diagonally across the United States from Astoria, Oregon, to Orlando, Florida. Occurring as follows A Partial Eclipse of the Moon, June 24. Visible to Australia and the Pacific Ocean. The beginning visible to North America except the northeastern portion, and South America except the eastern portion; ending visible to southwestern North America, and western and southern South America. |
