During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show SAT. JAN. 19, 1918. Spent the forenoon at the Red Cross rooms came home at three baked bread sewed etc after supper Milton Thair Myrene Mary and I went to the picture show. SUNDAY 20. Went to Weber Stake Conference this AM. Marie & Milton also went. DO McKay was the main speaker. A most interesting time. Prepared dinner & Marie & I went this afternoon a crowded house. Cleone is out to night Avon has company home. MON. JAN. 21, 1918. Helped wash this AM worked at Red Cross all afternoon & this evening. Retire at 1030. A letter from Junior has been transfered to the Eastern Counties of NC enjoying work very much. Thair took lesson. TUESDAY 22. Have spent all day at Red Cross rooms cutting out infants cloths. Prepared supper after which went to RS Board meeting. Myrene took lesson. |
