Show Businessman David Eccles succeeded his friend Thomas Dee as president of Utah Construction. Involved with some 27 corporations, Eccles served as president of 17 of them. His personal backing enabled the Utah Construction Company to land a prestigious contract in 1905 to build the challenging 942-mile Feather River rail line between Salt Lake City and Oroville, California. |
