Show Where possible, the Wattis brothers brought in steam shovels, which chugged along rails at a maximum rate of one mile per day. At one point, a gas engine to operate an air compressor arrived in boxes with a diagram for assembly. Power drills, small steam locomotives, and dump cars also became available. |
