The council was asked to approve this expense also. After discussion about the purchase of a dump truck and street sweeper, the council did not feel the city needs this heavy equipment at this time. However, President Dennis Ilium would like to look at the equipment before a decision is made. The expenses recommended were approved unanimously, and Pres. Illum and Mr. Morris are to look at the equipment mentioned. Cost of snow removal as of this month is $20,000.00. The Bona Vista water line on 400 North is being replaced. To date no complaints on flooding have been received, although a possible problem in Spencer Farms will be checked by staff. UDOT hosted a Davis Weber East-West Transportation Study Open House on February 21, 2008. February is National Heart Month, and Jennifer Keyes of the McKay-Dee Senior Health Connection, visited our Senior Center on February 12, with valuable advice on heart health.
