Show Among other projects near the turn of the century, the Utah Construction Company completed a Park City branch line for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad, extending over Soldier Summit in northern Utah. Note the Utah Construction name on the steam shovel, and the Wattis name teamed with Bechtel on the railroad cars. Later, the Wattis brothers and the Bechtel family would join in organizing Six Companies to build the Hoover Dam. |
