All science students contemplating work beyond the bachelor's degree should complete their foreign language requirement in their lower division work. Requirements for the Certificate of Business The completion of ninety quarter hours of junior college work, exclusive of Physical Education. The completion of a specific curriculum in Business as outlined in the catalogue. Requirements for the Certificate of Completion The completion of ninety quarter hours of junior college work, exclusive of Physical Education. The completion of an approved curriculum as out lined by the Dean of Instruction. These certificates are designed for students who desire to complete their formal education at the close of the second college year. Before a student can become a candidate for graduation his scholastic record must show that he has satisfied the entrance requirements, that he can fulfill all the requirements for graduation on the completion of the course for which he is registered, and that he has an average of not less than C in all his college work. Any exceptions to these requirements will be made by the President. All candidates for graduation are required to be present at the Commencement Exercises unless excused by the President. REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION Weber College grants the title of Associate of Arts, the title of Associate of Science, a Certificate of Business, and a Certificate of Completion. Students who expect to be graduated should arrange their program to con form with the requirements for one of these titles. Requirements for the title of Associate of Arts Completion of at least ninety quarter hours of approved college work, exclusive of Physical Education. The college work must include: 1. English 1, 2, 3. 2. Orientation 1. 3. Physical Education 40 and two selected activities. 4. A total of thirteen quarter hours from each of the following groups: Biological Science: Anatomy, Bacteriology, Botany, Hygiene, Physiology, and Zoology. It is required that students pursuing a major in English, Foreign Language, and Music qualify for the title of Associate of Arts. It is recommended that students pursuing a major in History, Sociology, and Speech qualify for the title of Associate of Arts.
