Show Dear Student, It is a pleasure to welcome you to Weber College. We have just completed our first year on the new campus and we have been very pleased with the new facilities. The 1955 session of the Utah Legislature has provided for further development. We are now able to add twenty-two acres of land to our new campus immediately south of the present buildings. We are also able to construct a $525,000 shop building on the new campus. Additional sidewalks, adequate landscaping, new tennis courts, etc., are also planned for the year 1955-56. Course offerings at the College include studies for the professions, the semi-professions, the technical and trade fields, and courses designed for special interests and for general cultural values. In all cases our community college strives to meet the diversified interests of all its students. We invite you to consult with us concerning your plans so that we might serve you better. Ogden's industrial area offers many opportunities for part-time work. The college assists students in obtaining placement. The quality of a college faculty determines the degree of its excellence.
