CONVENTION DATE Ogden Rotary Hears WeberCoed Chorus OGDEN-The Ogden Rotary Girl’s Chorus made its inaugural appearance here Wednesday at a midweek luncheon of the Rotary Club. The chorus consists of 21 Weber College coeds, under the direction of Roland Parry, Weber music instructor. Mr. Parry said the chorus was drawn from his music classes and that rehearsals were held daily Monday through Friday. The club brought the girls’ uniforms. The chorus has been booked at Davis High School Feb. 1 and also plans to sing at the Rotary District Convention in Pocatello, Idaho in April. Patsy Pollard is the organization president; Corrine Jones, vice president; and Clarice Jeppsen, secretary. Chorus enrollment includes Marilyn Beers, Annette Bott, Bonnie Davis, Beverly Deamer, Karma King, Marilyn Howard, Chyrrel Olsen, Nanette Budge. Ilamae Hansen, Doris Marsh, Audry Taylor, Margene Robbins, Carol Jean Wright, La Rae Parker, and La Vin Heninger. |
