Top Row: Clifford Vellinga, Sharon Blair, Jerry Nebeker, Clarence Vellinga. The Executive Council was responsible for administering and enforcing the rules of the student Constitution and any bills enacted by the WSC Senate. As the governing branch of the student body, they approved student functions, allocated student funds, and approved the operational budget. Looking to the future, the council included in their objective goals for the year the formation of a Constitutional Convention. At the convention they hoped to find the areas of problems, establish committees to investigate these, change for the better outdated policies, and make the Constitution more effective.
