Show Dr. Hofmann spoke out against Senate Bill 10. Our campus witnessed a truly unique happening in 1969: a student demonstration for the establishment! Dr. Hofmann spoke at a student-initiated rally against Senate Bill 10 which would make one board of directors over all state-supported colleges and universities. The students backed the faculty all the way against the bill, but it passed in spite of the legal effort put forth. demonstration for the 'establishment' A large crowd of students attended the rally in an effort to show their opposition to the proposed bill. All the pizza you can eat for a dollar. luigi's pizza party One of the best-supported activities of the year was Luigi's Pizza Party. The choice of either pizza or stomping or both was offered to the students during the winter dinner dance. The affair was sponsored by the Dance Committee who brought the Vicounts to perform. |
