Gwendolon Carter Larry 1954-2022 Gwendolon Carter Larry, 68, passed away November 21, 2022, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born May 3, 1954, to Matthew and Arcella Carter in Ogden, Utah. Gwendolon grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. She married John Lamont Larry in 1999 and is the mother of two sons. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Gwen was a very loving person, with a kind personality. She had a cat named Blackee whom she loved very much. She would give you the shirt off of her back as well as her last dime to help someone in need. She loved her family and friends dearly. She had a Facebook and posted daily LOL “Lots of Love” and “God Bless the Whole World”. She lived in Salt Lake but would come to Ogden every chance she got to visit and see friends. Gwendolon is survived by her husband, John; sons Shalemar Wil- son and Jabarri Starks; five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sister Minnette (Claude) Hayes; cousin Dunnese Sanders; nieces Beverly Tindall, Shammel Brower and Asha Jones; nephew Davee Person; special friend James Roger.
