Kendra J-Mariah Owens January 20, 1994 — June 10, 2023 Kendra J-Mariah Owens, affectionately known as Kendra Jayy was born on January 20, 1994 in Long Beach California to parents Valerie Lisa Grigsby and Terrance Lamont Tucker. Kendra graduated from Arroyo Valley High School in San Bernadino CA. She moved to Ogden, Utah in 2010. In 2012 Kendra meet Willie Gene Owens III the love of her life and they married August 9, 2013. They had three beautiful children Shylah Jayy Grigsby-Owens, Willie Gene Owens IV and Ka'Miyah J- Mariah Gene’ Owens. Kendra's family was her world. Kendra Jayy was a unicorn every room she entered sparkled when she walked in. Kendra had a bright personality and was very outspoken. She had a heart of gold and would give you her last. She was funny, fun loving, fun to hang out with and hanging out with her, you were guaranteed to laugh. Kendra was very fashionable and always guaranteed to be fashionably late. She had plenty of friends and acquaintances. Kendra's passion for rap, led her to be a recorded artist. Kendra also had a passion for writing music and poetry. Kendra lived life loud as her authentic self and would want to be celebrated that way.
