Frederick Douglass Suitt Jr. June 9, 1941 — May 7, 2023 Fredrick Douglas Suitt, age 81 returned to his heavenly father on Sunday, May 7th, 2023, at Lakeview hospital in Bountiful, Utah.. He was born in Durham, North Carolina on June 9, 1941. He was the son of the late Fredrick and Hattie Suitt. Fredrick had two younger siblings by the name of Carolyn Suitt and Michael Suitt. Fredrick and his family attended Church at Mount Gilead Baptist church. Fredrick was raised and educated in North Carolina. He graduated from Hillside High school in 1959, and later joined the United States Airforce from 1960-1964, he then was honorably discharged from Griffiss Air force Base. Upon his honorable discharge, he relocated to Utica, New York. At one time, he was wed to the late S.A Freeman and in the year 1965 they gave birth to their baby boy Gregory Hamilton Suitt. Fred and S.A Freeman later went their separate ways, and he moved further south of Utica and landed in Poughkipsie, New York. During that time frame, Fred started working for IBM. He then met the late Ernastine Boone, and they began their life journey together. Fred and Ernastine had two children together, in 1974 they gave birth to their daughter Shekinah Suitt and in 1976 they gave birth to their son Rahsaan Suitt. After 25 years, Fred retired from IBM and
