Show Steven Michael Dorsey Steven Michael Dorsey, departed this life March 14, 2023. He was born to Everett Agusta and Mary Thelma Brown Dorsey on February 1, 1960 at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He graduated from White Oak High School in Jacksonville, North Carolina. After graduation he served in the US Army and was honorable discharged. He married Lynette Dixon on July 17, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada, they were blessed with children. He was a long time member of True Vine Baptist church. He loved the Lord and sang for him anywhere he could including the male choir, and prayed for anyone in need. He also enjoyed singing with his brothers. His favorite sayings were Much Love & God is Good all the time. Steve enjoyed working for Clearfield Job Corps and Sam’s Club. He had a great laugh and loved sports and music. He was a great little league coach, he also coached baseball, football and basketball for boys and girls. We are sure he would have enjoyed the chance to coach his grandsons. He loved spending time with Azariah and Saint, his “main men” is what he would call them. He loved his God kids, Jai, Noelle, and Jackson. He loved all his family nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, were all his favorites cousins and friends. Steve was also a liver transplant recipient for over 20 years. A special thanks to Thomas and Tamra Larry for being a special brother and sister. Steve is survived by his wife, Lynette; sons, Nicholas J. (Christina) Dixon and Chris Chacon; daughters, Jayde L. Dorsey and Zaiyah Perry; Goddaughters, Faith and Kenzie, were so special to him; eight grandchildren, Christina, Dezmond, Ardian, Zoey, Courtney, DJ, Azariah, Saint; and three great grandchildren; aunt, Gladys Hill, who continue to raise him after his mother passed away at a young age.
