Our Band enjoyed a year of work and activity. Many long hours of practice went into the making our band one of the finest musical organizations in the school. The band was on hand to provide the music for the annual patriotic assembly held on Lincoln’s birthday. The entire band dressed in their — snappy uniforms of white pants, black jackets and hats trimmed with red and white stripes and some __ red braid over their shoulders appeared at the state __ basketball tournament to help cheer the boys.
