March 27, the big dance was held in the school gym. It was here that Billy Toone and Janice Taylor reigned as Mr. and Miss Sophomore. They were chosen from a field of 24 contestants. Other candidates were: Yvonne Hughes, Venita Campbell, Kathleen Giles, Roseland Folkman, Annette Taylor, Pat Hall, Marie Stimpson, dene Skeen, Jean Folkman, Maxine and Shryl. The boys were: Jerry Val- Hardy. Harris, Robert Crandall, Charles Beckert, Blair Fowers, David Jacobs, Jay Freestone, Bob Richens, Sanford Barker, Ray Schloupp, Dick Robison, and John Stark. Then on Tuesday. March 29, the Sophomores concluded their events with an assembly.
