Show Varsity football began slowly for Weber as she met defeat at the hands of both Davis and Provo in pre-season contests. By the time league play began, Weber again failed to win as she suffered a 13 to 7 loss from the Bears of Bear River. Strength and determination were the factors in the War- rior’s second game as the tide changed and Weber came out victorious 20 to. 13 over the Grizzlies from Logan. Francis looked good as he scored all three touchdowns. OUR FOOTBALL TEAM—Wendall Hall, Robert Folkman, Milton Olsen, Bruce Jones, Jimmy Freston, Vern Neilson, Gary Francis.
